Job Title: Welder
Ram Jack is seeking a dependable and motivated Welder to join our team. This position is responsible for performing welding operations on fabricated steel components while maintaining quality, accuracy, and safety standards in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work both independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations according to work orders, blueprints, and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
- Prepare materials for welding, including fitting, cleaning, and positioning
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance standards are met
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production needs or issues
Skills & Competencies
- Welding certification preferred
- MIG welding experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate welding tools and fabrication equipment
- Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measuring tools
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and weld quality
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines
- Ability to lift materials and work in a physically demanding environment
- Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-focused
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Qualifications
- Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols preferred
- Welding certifications are a plus
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
