OFFICE MANAGER — NEXO Técnico Corp. San Juan, PR | Face-to-face | Full-Time

NEXO Técnico is a specialized structural engineering and construction firm with more than 18 years serving pharmaceutical, commercial, and government clients in Puerto Rico. We are growing and we are looking for the person who will become the administrative center of gravity of our operation.

The role: We are looking for an Office Manager who takes ownership of the office, the administrative processes and the operational rhythm of the team. This person will be responsible for making the office work... period. From the professional image of the space to the coordination of payroll, onboarding of new personnel, and liaison with our external accounting and legal team.

We are not looking for someone who is waiting for instructions. We are looking for someone who will identify what is missing, scale it to the right level, and execute it.

Main responsibilities
  • Payroll coordination with remote accounting team and ADP.
  • Onboarding and offboarding of personnel (files, orientation, documentation).
  • Office management: image, supplies, physical and digital archive.
  • Liaison with external accounting and legal firms.
  • HR compliance support (documentation, files, policies).
  • Administrative coordination of the support team (accounting, assistants).
  • Staff benefits and insurance management.
What we are looking for
  • Minimum experience of 3 years in an administrative role with payroll and/or HR responsibility.
  • Experience with ADP or equivalent payroll system (preferred).
  • Impeccable organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing detail.
  • Professional communication in Spanish and English.
  • Mastery of digital tools (Google Workspace, Excel).
  • Ownership attitude: "if it fell, I pick it up... I don't wait for them to tell me."

Plus (not required): Experience in construction or engineering companies. Familiarity with labor compliance processes in PR. Experience with QuickBooks or accounting systems.

Compensation:
  • Competitive salary based on experience ($35,000 to $52,000 annually).
  • Medical Plan: Reimbursement up to $200 on bill.
  • Real opportunity for growth: this position has a documented path to roles of greater administrative responsibility based on demonstrated performance.

Location: Face-to-face in San Juan, PR. This position requires presence in the office. It is not remote.

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $35,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
