Nexo Técnico busca un Ingeniero Estructural PE que será nuestro sucesor técnico del CEO fundador en evaluaciones forenses y diseño de soluciones especializadas.

NO buscamos un ingeniero de oficina tradicional.

Buscamos el ingeniero que:
✅ Disfruta los casos "raros" que requieren pensamiento lateral
✅ Puede diagnosticar causas raíz con evidencia limitada
✅ Diseña soluciones innovadoras (no solo "by the book")
✅ Comunica expertise técnico a clientes no-técnicos
✅ Prospera con autonomía y responsabilidad directa

Lo que ofrecemos
1. Shadowing CEO en 5-10 evaluaciones forenses complejas
2. Co-liderar evaluaciones con autonomía progresiva
3. Ownership completo de 2-3 proyectos de diagnóstico
4. Desarrollar propuestas técnicas y presentaciones a clientes
5. Certificación en metodologías propietarias de Nexo

REQUISITOS:
✅ PE activo en Puerto Rico (requerido)
✅ 8+ años post-licensure en ingeniería estructural
✅ Expertise en diagnóstico de patología estructural (grietas, asentamientos, fallas)
✅ Experiencia en 3+ de estas áreas:
   • Evaluación de estructuras existentes (ACI 364, ASCE 11)
   • Diseño de refuerzo/rehabilitación (FRP, postensado, encamisados)
   • Cimentaciones y geotecnia aplicada
   • Análisis de causa raíz de fallas estructurales
   • Peritajes o testimonios expertos

BONUS (diferenciadores clave):
✅ Experiencia en construcción (field experience)
✅ Certificaciones especializadas (ACI, ICRI, SEI)
✅ Familiaridad con tecnologías emergentes (monitoreo estructural, BIM)

💰 COMPENSACIÓN:
  • Base: $75,000 - $95,000 (según experiencia)
  • Profit share: % de proyectos que lideres

Transportation

In summary:

  • If assigned to reach a project or location one hour or more away from your place of residence, a stipend applies for each day worked at that location.
  • Trips during working hours in your vehicle to attend company matters can be submitted for mileage reimbursement.
  • In case you are assigned to work at a location more than 40 miles from your town of residence, additional compensation will apply to travel time.
  • A weekly transportation stipend may apply instead of the above at the Company's discretion.
