This position is a key part of our production process, using robotic welding equipment to ensure consistent, high-quality welds on structural steel components. We are seeking candidates who take pride in their work, value safety, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor robotic welding systems to ensure proper function and quality
Operate and monitor robotic welding systems to ensure proper function and quality
- Keep robotic welders running efficiently throughout the shift
- Inspect welded parts and touch up any missed or defective welds manually
- Cut out or remove defective components using a cutting torch
- Load and unload materials or parts from welding fixtures
- Perform minor troubleshooting and adjustments on robotic welding equipment
- Work with quality control to minimize downtime and defects
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with robotic welding equipment preferred
- Proficient in MIG welding and able to touch up welds as needed
- Hands-on experience using a cutting torch to remove defective parts
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Welding certifications a plus
Compensation:
- $16 - $18 per hour, based on experience
